How do you know if your energy is NOT flowing?

Hey everyone, hope you’re all feeling well.

A common question my clients and students ask me is:

“how do I know if my energy is flowing?”

Your energy is always flowing or moving around your body. We have meridians in our bodies which are narrow pathways who’s job are to carry bodily fluids, blood and energy (chi) around the body. The flow of energy can easily become interrupted. How? Anything from car accidents, sports injuries, emotional traumas, negative thinking, inherited and prenatal trapped emotions in the body can affect the flow of our energy. Other ways of knowing are to notice how you feel. If you regularly feel fatigued day after day, don’t sleep well or have pain in your body, these are all tell tales of what is going on beneath the surface.

There seems to be a common belief out there that as we move through this life, our bodies naturally start to ache and then pain sets in. That may be the experience of many people however it is not normal by any means. We begin to experience aches and pain when our energy is not flowing well.

We can get our energy flowing again in a variety of different ways. If you feel tired or your body feels stiff or you feel like you’d like to shift something in your life any of the following will help. I recommend to my students and clients to choose something that really resonates with them and then commit to it for a set period of time like 3 months minimum. For example we are not likely to see results when we only practice yoga once every 2 weeks.
A combination of a couple things on the list below may also feel good. For energy type healing sessions often 4 sessions can be enough but it definitely depends on what you are experiencing.

Common ways to get your energy flowing:

Practice yoga 3-4 days per week
Meditate every day for 15 minutes or work your way up to 15 minutes
Bio energy healing sessions – 4 is a great start twice per year
Acupuncture sessions
Massage
Reflexology
Green juices or smoothies
Eating a plant based diet 80% of the time
Exercise combined with stretching after
Emotion code sessions – release trapped emotions from the body
Reiki sessions
Writing
Breathing practices
Acupressure points massage
Yin yoga – EXCELLENT for energy flow, it’s like a needless acupuncture session

I hope you enjoyed this post, please remember your questions are always welcome, feel free to send them and also keep in mind “when your energy flows, good health follows”

To your health, Lara
