How I’m Using EFT Tapping to Raise My Vibe (and How You Can Too)
Lately, I’ve been using EFT Tapping every morning—not just to calm stress, but to raise my vibration and feel even more excited about my life and what I want to create.
It’s my favorite 20-minute boost that helps me shift into feeling even better than I already do. P.S. you can do this for 5 minutes and it would bring you amazing results!
If you’re new to EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), it’s a simple but powerful mind-body practice where we gently tap on specific acupressure points while speaking or thinking affirmations. It tells our nervous system, “Hey, it’s safe to feel good now.” 🌿 P.S. this is just one way to use EFT – more traditionally, it is used to release mental/emotional stressors so we can heal.
✨ What Happens When You Tap?
Each time you tap, you’re doing more than just calming down. You’re physiologically rewiring your stress response and turning on your body’s natural feel-good chemistry.
Here’s what tapping can do:
💖 Lowers cortisol (your stress hormone)
☁️ Boosts dopamine (hello, good vibes!)
🔐 Calms your fight or flight response
💪 Supports your immune system
🌙 Improves sleep quality
🌈 Balances hormones
🌿 Increases mental clarity
⚡️ Enhances focus & emotional resilience
It’s like pressing a “reset” button on your mood and energy.
Where to Tap (Even if You’re Brand New)
Here are the basic EFT points you can tap on gently with two or three fingers:
Side of Hand (Karate Chop Point) – fleshy side of your hand under your pinky
Top of Head – Note: tap for 1-2 statements or stay on a point minimum 7 taps
Eyebrow Point – where your brow starts, near the nose
Side of Eye – on the bone next to your temple
Under Eye – just below your pupil, on the cheekbone
Under Nose
Chin Point – in the crease below your lower lip
Collarbone Point – just below the hard bony part of your collarbone
Under Arm – a few inches below the armpit (bra strap area)
✨ Pro tip for busy mornings: You can even tap just one point (like your collarbone or side of hand) while speaking your affirmations and still get benefits.
My Feel-Good Morning Tapping Ritual
Each morning, I set a timer for 20 minutes, take a few deep breaths, and tap through the points while repeating these affirmations—and then I add my own words right after. So I would suggest choosing a topic ie: health, money, job opportunities etc and fill in your choice of words as you tap along. This is so fun!
Say each of these, then fill in the blank with what you’re excited for or calling in:
“I am so excited for…”
“I can’t wait for…”
“I love it when…”
“I love the feeling when…”
“It’s all going to be so fun when…”
“I am so looking forward to…”
“I am so ready for…”
“The process of ___ is so fun for me.”
Repeat while tapping gently. Let your words flow. Let yourself feel what you’re creating.
